Understanding Learning Styles in Undergraduate Nursing Programs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: An Integrative Literature Review

Background: In Saudi Arabia, nursing education is developing fast due to high demand. Alongside this development, nurse educators must identify and understand students learning styles ensure the multidimensional development of experiences. Students' preferred style an essential element in determining students' unique ways processing new knowledge, information, skills. Objective: This literature review aimed undergraduate based on premises three models: Kolb’s Model, Felder-Silverman Learning, Visual, Aural, Read/Write, Kinesthetic (VARK) Learning Styles Inventory. Methods: An integrative published studies was conducted while adhering predefined eligibility measures. The research strategy for study online international databases, such as PubMed, Medline, CINAHL, EBSCO, Google Scholar, health databases journals. keywords used were: “nursing education,” “learning style,” preference,” “academic “undergraduate students,” Arabia.” Results: Seven met inclusion criteria. Most reviewed reported a prominent preference kinesthetic, accommodating, converging, visual, active regardless their age, gender, level various universities Arabia. Conclusion: Students emphasize importance practical experience hands-on practice best that improves experience. Arabian system adjust fit focus advanced state-of-the-science tools education.
